You may have already experienced an orientation session, so you might know what to expect. However getting acclimated to a completely new university is never an easy task. There are new traditions to learn, a new environment to adapt to, and of course thousands of new faces to meet. You all most likely transferred for many different reasons, but there is nothing to worry about because the Clemson Family will welcome you with open arms! We are here to provide you with all of the necessary resources to make your transition to Clemson as smooth as possible.

Clemson has great options for off-campus living. We offer many different apartment complexes with affordable rent to accommodate our students as best as possible. Whether you're looking for an apartment or a house, the Clemson community has what you need.

Transferring Credits

Transferring credentials from your previous college can sometimes get messy. There can be a lot of documentation needed and a lot of confusion about which credits are accepted at Clemson. Here you can see which credits transfer over, or which AP scores are valid.

Transportation

Clemson has multiple sources of free, public transportation. One option is what we call our CAT Bus system. The CAT Bus routes travel from campus to various apartment complexes, as well as Clemson's neighboring cities such as Seneca, Anderson, and Pendleton. Another source of transportation is known as Tiger Transit. This option transports students to various locations on campus only.
