Hey everyone! My name is Kristen Krebs and I am so excited to be your Orientation Ambassador this summer! I’m from Holly Springs, North Carolina and I will be a junior Communication Studies major this fall. Although the transition to college was a little overwhelming at first, I joined many organizations on campus during my first year such as Greek Life, IMPACT for freshmen and transfer students, and Orientation. Going into the school year with an open mind and a desire to try new things and meet new people really helped me adapt to Clemson University quickly. Although I was leaving my family for the first time, I truly felt as if I gained another one coming to Clemson. When people talk about the “Clemson Family”, there is nothing cliché or corny about it. It’s in the pride that brings us together at football games, and in the orange that every student wears on Solid Orange Fridays. The Clemson Family is deeply rooted into every past and present Tiger, and it’s what makes this four-year experience one that is unforgettable. I am so excited that you chose Clemson, and I would like to officially welcome you into the family! GO TIGERS!
